First-ever Button Factory Giveaway

Are you familiar with Gary Chapman? Love him, love him, love him!! I've shared before what a difference his Five Love Languages has made in my relationship with my daughter, but I don't think I've said anything about what it's done for my other relationships. Now that I stop for a second to think about it, I've tried to figure out the love language of everybody I am close to and every relationship I have has been better for it.

So, obviously, I am really excited about his newest book, Love as a Way of Life! I can't believe it was released in July and I have yet to obtain it, but what can I say, it's been a busy summer. Since everything I've ever read or heard out of his mouth has been 5-star quality, I feel confident this book will be equally wonderful and life-changing. So, I just scooty-pooted over to Amazon and ordered two copies. One for me, one for you. All you have to do is delurk and leave me a comment on this post telling me your love language. (See here for a 30-second assessment!) On Friday--when the books are due to arrive--random.org will select a winner for me.

Apparently my love language is "words of affirmation". It's the simple things in life, isn't it? Just to be told that you are appreciated is enough for me!!

I'll have to go with Words of Affirmation (although acts of service certianly never hurt my feelings. :)

Words of affirmation is my love language too. I'll have to agree with Susan, acts of service is a very close second.

Should I be embarrassed? Receiving gifts is my love language.
