Good mommy moments

(because I'm all about balance)

I broke down two days ago and opened one of the bags of Halloween candy. I hid it in my closet and no one was going to be the wiser. (I seriously cannot believe I just confessed that.) A little later I heard my children downstairs being sweet and kind to each other so I threw two pieces of candy over the banister and stepped back before they could see me. You should have heard the shrieks of joy. "Candy!! Candy is falling from the sky! Oh my gosh, LOOK, there is candy falling from the sky!" So I grabbed a couple more pieces and sailed them down, with the same giddy, joyous reaction. I've been doing this on and off ever since, and every time they go berserk. Every time. Like they thought the miraculous falling candy had stopped, but lo, it continues. And there is great celebration. Every time.

I hide things all the time. Don't feel bad about that!! And you shared and the result is perfect cuteness. Love it!
