Menu Plan Monday




Going pretty simple this week; there's a lot going on. Scoot over to orgjunkie.com for more MPM participants.

Monday - 7-up Steak is officially in the oven. (Has it been on my menu plan for the last two weeks or three??)

Tuesday - Shrimp Scampi Pasta a la Rachael Ray.

Wednesday - Ground Beef Pasties with Cream Gravy (Also called Country Gravy, depending on where you're from. It's also called just plain "Gravy" by Beau, strongly implying that there IS no other form of gravy. You know what else? If you use the word gravy a half-dozen times in one paragraph, it starts to look funny.)

Thursday - Lasagna (out of the freezer. I'm completely sold on my new self-imposed rule of never making just one lasagna. Now I prepare enough meat and cheese for two. One goes into the crock-pot that same morning. It cooks all day so I don't have to boil the noodles first. The other I assemble and pop into the freezer. The thawing and cooking softens those noodles, so they don't have to be boiled first either. It's brilliant, I tell you!) Since it's Valentine's Day, and my sister and niece will be here, I plan to make some fresh bread and a nice salad. Nice salad, as opposed to the icky salad I would feed us otherwise??

Friday - Pizza. Not even homemade pizza. Just regular old call-it-in-for-delivery pizza. Scott will be home with los ninos. Sis and I are going to ScrapBowl where we will laugh til our faces hurt, eat with great joy and possibly scrapbook a bit.

Saturday - Not sure; I plan to be still laughing, eating and scrapping. I know there's some ground beef and some chicken breasts. Scott's free to work his magic however he chooses.

Sunday - Breakfast for Dinner

Great menu! I love gravy. Gravy is really good. Gravy, gravy, gravy. Yeah, you are right. LOL ;)

I've been checking all day to see what we'll be eating when we get there! Woo hoo! Someone ELSE is planning my meals (much of) this week!
