For Today...
Outside my Window...perfection! It's "almost-fall" weather here. Our leaves haven't started changing and it's not cool enough to make me automatically think of sweaters and apple crisp, but when I walk outside, I think, "What a beautiful day!"
I am thinking..."Where can I find a guitar teacher for Will?"
From the learning rooms...we started our new year today and everything went very smoothly. (I cannot believe this is our third year of homeschooling!) I'm going to hammer out some more plans and try to make it to the library this afternoon to pick up some extra books to have around.
I am thankful for...our wonderful church family
From the kitchen...a simple lunch of fruit and sandwiches, because dinner is going to be a rock-your-world roast with veggies and mashed potatoes.
I am wearing...blue jeans and a red T-shirt. Always wear red on Mondays. It helps, it really does.
I am reading...a half-dozen leftover magazines from our plane ride.
I am hoping...that my sister will go ahead and have her baby today.
I am creating...cards for the Stamp Club card exchange
I am hearing...a lawnmower outside and William and Katie planning a mission to save Krypto from pirates.
Around the house...the plan is to clean downstairs. But plans are subject to change. I pulled all the weeds in the flower bed this morning and it would be wise for me to knock out a a couple of loads of laundry. And, of course, prepare for school tomorrow.
One of my favorite things...is when Katie sleeps well and wakes up in a great mood. She wants to cuddle and whisper and it's just wonderful. This morning was one of those days.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...a library trip, swim lessons, ballet lesson, Tae KwonDo. (And that's just Tuesday!) We also start Bible Studies and Kid's Club at church this week--YAY! I'm also looking forward to Writer's Workshop and a Women's Ministry Luncheon. It's a full week in the Button Factory.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
How stinking cute is this little outbuilding in my sister-in-law's backyard?
Now, scooty-poot over to The Simple Woman to see more Daybook entries.

Elizabeth is dying to learn guitar, too. How in the world we'll fit that in though, I don't know..... You sound just as busy as me!
Your SIL's little building is about as cute as they come! I'll have to take you up on the Red on Mondays, as my Mondays usually need all the help they can get.
If you like autumn you could come up here. Most of our plants have begun changing their colors, I'll have some pictures that I took last week up on my blog later this week though there are already a few up.
Sounds like you will be busy this week. Have a great week.
