I planned this week's meals and shopped on Saturday. On Sunday, I found out the church we visited was having a martial arts sports camp and signed Will up. It meets Monday through Friday of this week, from 5:00-8:00 pm. Scott starts back to work this week, too, so I will soon start to understand the reality of The Commute that everyone has been warning me about. So here's what I originally planned for this week. Forgive me if I don't come back and update that we actually had Chick-Fil-A, pizza, Chick-Fil-A, cold cereal, leftover pizza and Burger King.
Sunday: Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken, steamed asparagus, homemade cinnamon-raisin bread. Oh, I'm June Cleaver, aren't I? It was delicious!
Monday: tacos, refried beans (but someday I'm going to try them just "fried" to see if that second frying really makes such a difference. Eh, Maria?!)
Tuesday: Parmesan Chicken, pasta, salad
Wednesday: grilled flank steak, baked potatoes, green beans
Thursday: Crunchy Chicken strips (aka homemade nuggets, ha!), tater tots, broccoli, cheap plastic toy
Friday: beef & broccoli over rice
Saturday: EATING OUT. Unless we actually ate out all week, in which case I'll happily cook.
