This post is brought to you by the letter E.

My new bloggy friend Annie at Fried Pork Chop gave me this award. It's my first blog award ever. Pretty cool! I misread her blog the day she awarded me and thought I had to earn it by posting six unusual things about myself and I couldn't come up with anything. Which is evidence of some deep denial, because I'm one neurotic person. Luckily, when I reread what she'd written, I realized the only requirement is that I pass the award on to 10 more Excellent Bloggers. Whew.

I hereby pass the E for Excellent award on to these bloggers:

Susan at In My Humble Yet Usually Accurate Opinion, who is clearly an excellent blogger, if not a frequent blogger. When I see that she has a new post, sometimes I wait to read it so I can savor it. But usually I scarf it down as fast as I can and then burp wit and bon mots for an hour.

My good friend Zoe at Royal Mom. Her slice-of-life take on everything from taking apart a VCR to raising chickens to unschooling just delights me.

Katrice at Stamping Magic. I love to see when she adds a new beautiful stamping project and you will never meet anybody nicer than Katrice.

Julie at Joyful Days. Whether she's writing about their homeschool adventures or her spiritual journey, I feel a kinship with her.

Speaking of homeschool adventures, I have greatly benefited from Michelle's blog at Heart of the Prairie and Jenny's blog at Little Acorns Treehouse so I will pass the lovely E to them as well.

Another blog that keeps inspiring me to do what I love is Katie the Scrapbook Lady. I haven't tried digital scrapbooking, which is her specialty, but her perspective always gets my mind whirring. Oh, and Wanda at My Creative Corner just keeps amazing me with her creativity stamping talent; you should definitely check her out!

You will all recognize the URL for Laura's blog orgjunkie.com from all my Menu Plan Monday posts. If you visit her blog Tuesday through Sunday, though, you just might find yourself motivated to organize your pantry, your closet or your life.

Finally, I am also passing it retroactively to Amy at Mama Nirvana, in the hopes that she will decide she misses blogging and come back.

Dear Wendy,

Thank you so much for blessing me. It is difficult as a homeschooler to have chosen a path in life in which you do not receive regular feedback through job performance reviews, raises or report cards. Receiving this award is like getting my own little report card. It warms my heart to know that what I am writing is helpful to someone else on the same path.

Thank you so much!

Jenny
