Menu Plan Monday, week of November 26

I don't know about you, but I feel like I cooked my little heart out last week. Still, after eating on the leftovers for a couple of days, my itch to cook is starting to come back.

Monday-- (Happy Birthday to my mom!) Parmesan Chicken over pasta, a carry-over from last week. I subbed Rachael Ray's Spinach Artichoke Pasta--which I had originally planned for this week--because last week we were a little overloaded on the bird.

Tuesday-- Roast beef & potatoes with fried apples

Wednesday-- out to eat/church

Thursday-- (Happy Birthday to Katie!) The Birthday Girl-to-be has already decreed that her birthday dinner will be at the Silver Diner. :sigh: We always get dismal service, so Scott's dreading it. I actually like their food well enough, but knowing that Scott isn't thrilled taints the experience. Hopefully he will be able to make it all about Katie.

Friday--Lemon & Garlic Roasted Chicken, green beans, salad

Saturday--Beef & Broccoli, with some potstickers or something to jazz it up.

Sunday--(Happy Birthday to me!) We always have breakfast for dinner on Sunday, but who knows? I have a romantic husband and kids who pamper me, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that we'll eat out! Except that would make 3 times in one week. That's kind of crazy.

Don't forget to check out the other Meal Planners at Laura's blog!

thanks for stopping by my blog and for your baby wishes my way- I need them, I can't wait to be done with the aches and pains of pregnancy. Happy bday this week and I'm also a 'Flylady dropout', I wrote a whole post on it, because when I ran across your blog on Menu Plan Monday and read your profile I laughed out loud.
here's the link if you're interested

We have a total of 5 Nov b-days & 2 wedding anniversaries... It's just nuts! We never seem to have any leftover cake...LOL! Maybe we will after tomorrows round!
