Meal Plan Monday, week of August 20
Well, friends, it's a gloomy, rainy Monday morning here in our nation's capitol. You can just imagine how excited I am about hitting the commissary today. Blech. Anyway, here's what's on our menu this week:
Monday: Crunchy chicken. It's Katie's current favorite, and it's first up on the menu by her special request. It's just baked chicken coated in crushed cornflakes, but she'll eat it, and that's what counts, right?
Tuesday: Spinach-artichoke tortellini
Wednesday: Chicken cordon Bleu
Thursday: Roast beef (using the leftovers to "feed the freezer.")
Friday: Enchilada soup
Saturday: something easy for the kids...Scott and I are going to see Jason Bourne. I mean, The Bourne Ultimatum.
Thanks, Laura, for hosting MPM! It's 7:00 am and there are already 50 participants!

"Feed the freezer." LOL I like that term! The cruchy chicken sounds good and so does everything else. Have a wonderful week! :)
That chicken cordon bleu recipe looks really yummy!! I think I will have to try that soon. Have a great week!
I love that "feed the freezer" phrase.
Hey, I was number 50 LOL
My hubby tried to go see the Bourne Ultimatum and both shows (one after the other) were sold out.

The commissary? Sound like a military family like us!! We are PCSing to the Ft Belvior area really soon :) Great sounding meal plan.
The Spinach-Artichoke Tortellini sounds yummy! Have a good week!
Looks yummy (especially Saturday LOL)!
btw.. couldn't find an email address for you. I had the same problem with my profile. Under the Basic Tabs under Settings, select "yes" at "add blog to our listings". Then, click Edit Profile. There is a spot to select which blogs to add to your profile.
Would you please send me your meal planer a couple days ahead so i can shop for the ingredients! Always looks good.
The Enchilada Soup sounds so good. Can you post the recipe for it- pretty please? :)
